Extended Access

Did you know you can now book GP Appointments in Mid Nottinghamshire on evenings and weekends?

All GP Surgeries across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood can now offer evening and weekend routine GP appointments.  These appointments are available to all residents who are registered with a GP Practice in Mid Nottinghamshire.

The appointment may not take place at your usual GP surgery, but at another nearby. Your GP surgery will be able to provide you with more information about the location at the time of booking an appointment.

Appointments are available up to 8pm on a weekday, Saturdays 9am - 5pm.

Please note that these appointments are for non-emergencies and are pre-bookable only.

If you find that you no longer need your appointment please cancel it so that these can be offered to other patients.

For further information please speak to your GP Surgery.  A frequently asked questions information sheet has been produced in partnership with some of our practice managers and GPs and can be found here.  A Patient Information Leaflet has also been produced which can be found here

If you would like to share your experience or discuss any issues around GP Extended Access then please contact our Patient Experience Team on Telephone: 0800 0283 693 press Option 1 or Email: NSHCCG.Pet-North@nhs.net
